Cellular Internet Connectivity
The business traveler's best friend.
WiFi is cool, but it only works
in certain airports, coffee shops, and hotels, and there are MAJOR security and
identity-theft issues that go hand in hand with their use. Cellular internet, on the other hand,
works anywhere you have cell service - even a moving vehicle at, errr, 90mph. And with the introduction of
Verizon and Sprint's EVDO wireless broadband services, it's nearly as fast as WiFi, too.
Why pay a fortune to several different WiFi hot spot providers at airports, hotels, coffee
shops and internet cafes when you can have one EVDO provider for $60/month?
Don't just buy any cell phone. If wireless Internet connectivity is of value to you,
talk to us before you make a move. Some phones have built-in Bluetooth hardware that
allows laptops to access the Internet through a cell phone, without the use of a USB
cable! Dedicated EVDO cards are available for PCMCIA and ExpressCard/34-equipped laptops,
and there is a slick little USB modem for everyone else. Rely on our expertise getting you set up with
the right technology -- we've already been down that same road.
