| Mac OS X Training
There's a saying that 80% of people make use of only 20% of the features in any given
product. Mac OS X is no exception. Plenty of people spend inordinate amounts of time doing very
straightforward tasks simply because they don't know a better way to do them.
It doesn't have to be that way. Let us show your staff how to become power users of Mac OS X, where
they spend hours every day -- including the Finder, Mail, Safari -- any Apple-provided software. This is
especially helpful for those whose past computing experience was primarily in Windows.
Applications Training
Far too many resellers do a masterful job selling a company on a solution but
fail to follow through and actually train its users on how to use it.
Don't waste your technology investment assuming people will
figure it out for themselves. Frustrated users go to unbelieveable lengths to avoid
having to deal with things they don't understand. One agency we work with purchased
a $2,500 calendar and contact management system from a previous consultant and spent
the better part of a year avoiding its use. Another company bought a $2,000 digital
asset management system but essentially left it on the shelf until we began working with
them. Don't let it happen to you!

Escape can develop
a curriculum for just about any training need your organization
may have. Escape staff or our Apple Consultants Network colleagues offer in-depth sessions on Microsoft Entourage,
Keynote, iMovie, iPhoto, iDVD, GarageBand, AppleScript, and FileMaker, among others.
We also work with outside training specialists for many
applications, from Word to Excel to Illustrator to Quark and InDesign to Photoshop.
With our years of experience working with just about every major
Mac application, we can often show your staff how to more efficiently
do common, everyday tasks.

For example,
one client was attempting to build a complicated Excel spreadsheet
that would be filled out each month with numbers tracking the advertising
budget and expenditures year-to-date. Unfortunately, as originally
designed by one of the agency's account executives, the spreadsheet
required several hours of manual custom formula entry each month.
Once Escape had reviewed the purpose of the spreadsheet and the
needs it met, we modified the spreadsheet so that it could be filled
out in under ten minutes while still retaining all the information
and functionality. By investing in a few hours of Escape's time
once, the agency saved several hours of its employees' time
each month.
